Q: What is SpeedyCeph?

A: SpeedyCeph is a cephalometric analysis-as-a-service company powered by the advanced cephalometric analysis software, Dr. Ceph.

Q: Can you trace my cephs?

A: Yes! If you need an analysis done on a lateral cephalometric X-Ray but don't have the time to do it yourself or train someone to do it for you, we can help! Our experienced technicians will trace your cephs for a small fee per ceph. Within 24 hours of purchasing an analysis, we will send the tracing and analysis results to the email associated with your account.

Q: What makes you different?

A: We offer industry leading advantages compared to other services! We offer more analysis choices, including custom analyses, for a cheaper price-per-ceph. Customize your trace structures and tracing colors. Save your payment details with a SpeedyCeph Account and make Checkout even speedier!

Q: How do I upload my X-Ray?

A: Select your preferred analysis from the Store, then upload your X-Ray in the Patient Details section at the bottom of the Checkout page! Contact us directly if you prefer another delivery method. We will do our best to accommodate you.

Q: Do I need to submit patient information with my X-Ray?

A: Yes, but we only require the following details: Age, sex and race. Patient Birth date and X-Ray date helps to determine the exact age of the person when the X-Ray was taken. To accomodate to HIPAA laws, we do not ask for Patient Name or ID. This keeps your PHI de-identified which adds another layer of security. We will give your patient a unique ID to use in the future if multiple analyses are needed.

Q: Do I need a calibration scale on my X-Ray?

A: Yes! Make sure your cephalometric X-Rays have a calibration scale, they are most commonly attached to the nose guide of your machine or on the border of the image itself. We need to be able to clearly see the millimeter markings. The longer the calibration scale, the more accurate your results will be.

Q: Can I request a custom analysis from SpeedyCeph?

A: Yes! Simply add the Custom Analysis product to your cart and specify the variables you want to use in the Order Notes section. We will create an analysis specifically for your practice to use from that point on. You can also just email a copy of your custom analysis to us at support@fyitek.com and we can create it for you ahead of time. If you want to reuse a custom analysis we have previously made for you, specify your analysis name in the Order Notes section.

Q: What will I receive from SpeedyCeph?

A: We will deliver two .JPG files. An image of your traced ceph X-Ray and an image of your detailed analysis. By default our tracings will be black and we will display ceph points. Below is an example of what you would get from a ABO Analysis in black with all available tracings selected:

Q: What tracings are offered?

A: As referenced above, we can trace all the structures shown. By default, we will only trace the Mandible, Maxilla, Ramus, Orbital Socket, Soft Tissue Profile, and the Upper and Lower molars and incisors. For example, a Steiner-Tweed analysis with the X-Ray hidden and all default settings will look like this:

Q: What else can I customize on my tracings?

A: In the Order Notes section at checkout you can request things like "Show all tracings","Hide the X-Ray", "Use red tracings", or "Don't display landmarks" and we will work to accomodate you. Should you decide to open an Account with us, some of these settings can be customized in your Account Management page. More settings will be added in the future.

Q: When will I receive my processed analysis?

A: We will deliver the processed analysis via email within 24 business hours guaranteed, or your next analysis is free. Holidays excluded. Depending on when you submit your order, you could receive your tracing in as little as one hour!

Q: Can I open an Account with SpeedyCeph?

A: Yes! Check the box to "Save Payment Details" and you will be prompted to set a password for your Account during Checkout. We will securely store your Billing and Payment details to make it easier to purchase an analysis in the future. You can also customize the settings we offer for the SpeedyCeph service such as trace structures and tracing colors!

Q: What if something is incorrect on my analysis?

A: No problem! Just send an email to support@fyitek.com and tell us what to change on your analysis. We will make those changes and re-send your analysis at no cost! If it is something specific you want to change, we can even get remotely connected with you.

Q: I have a few cephalometric X-Rays that I need analyzed, can I submit multiple X-Rays at once?

A: Yes, to accomodate to doing superimpositions, you can upload 2 X-Rays at a time. If you have more than 2 ceph X-Rays that need to be analyzed, please send an email to support@fyitek.com and we will work to accommodate you.
